Aerial Drone Video Production

Moves Media has enjoyed capturing videos and photography from incredible perspectives since 2012 using the latest Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology. Using a high performance UAV/ drone mounted with a professional cinema grade camera, we have documented numerous projects and experiences. We have worked with film productions, professional rock climbers, recording artists, ski resorts, extreme athletes, music festivals, real estate companies, expedition companies and many more to capture perspectives never before thought possible.

UAV Drone Operators (RPAS)

Aerial footage is only as good as your drone operator. That’s why we have built a team of highly skilled UAV pilots/ cinematographers to execute the precise maneuvers that maximize the beauty of a shot. We ensure the highest quality drone footage for each and every project we work on. All of our UAV operators are fully licensed by Transport Canada to fly drones and are fully insured to safely operate a drone.

Drone Specs

We use a variety of different drones depending on the scope of your project. All our drones have 4K shooting capability and our larger drones can shoot up to 8K or carry a payload 10lbs (holding DSLRs, Reds, and other cinematic cameras). Our prefered aerial drone is currently the Inspire 2 equipped with the X5s camera. This drone can fly over 90 km/ hr and captures the most cinematic video and stills imaginable. We utilize smaller, high quality drones for projects with lower budgets that can capture amazing quality at affordable prices. Each drone has a unique set of features in order to deliver the best footage. Below are the standard specifications for the drones in our fleet.
